Diet and Nutrition

There are many people who truly want to start eating healthier, but don't know where to begin. They may have problems knowing the difference between processed and unprocessed food, or why this is an issue. Many people do not know about ingredients in manufactured food products, and never read the labels. They do not know which ingredients are healthy and which are not. This causes them to simply give up, and some will revert to familiar ways of eating, and just hope for the best.

One belief with which we need to dispense, is that healthy eating is boring. Nothing could be further from the truth. Once a person gets more familiar with preparing healthier foods, old ways of eating will appear to be unappetizing and unimaginative. Understand that cooking and preparing healthy food is not hard. Having a principle or two to go by makes every meal a snap to prepare.
